Outcome 6: ‘Revision’

For this course outcome, I chose two artifacts that shows how feedback from other readers can affect positively my writings.

This outcome is represented by a mechanic, who does the maintenance of the car and checks to see if everything is working properly, similarly to feedback on a writing assignment that checks if everything in that assignment is correct.

The first artifact of this outcome is the peer review for the first major assignment. This was the first peer review that I did in this course, and it helped me so much during the process of writing my paper. As you can see my paper looked very different from the final product and the reason for that is because I took into consideration the feedback from my peers. This not only increased my grade, but it taught me to ask for an outside opinion when needed.

My second artifact is the second peer review I participated in this course, the peer review for the second major assignment. Similar to the first peer review, this also helped me a lot, the feedback from my colleagues helped me improve my vocabulary and my arguments in the paper, leading to a more developed final product. It was great that we did these revisions in order to improve each other's papers.
